Make a quick and easy mozzarella cheese quiche for anytime of the day today. This meatless dish will satisfy all members of your family.

How To Make Quick Microwave Quiche

Quiche

  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese shredded ((Please avoid using pre-bought shredded mozzarella for this, due to its innate cornstarch content))
  • 1 tbsp. green onion (chopped)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp hot sauce

Crust

  • 4 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp. shortening
  1. For the crust, place bread crumbs and shortening in a bowl. Mix well until combined
  2. Lightly spray a microwave-friendly baking dish of your choice.
  3. Line the baking dish with the crust mixture.
  4. Flatten with back of a spoon and microwave at medium 3 minutes. Set aside until cool.
  5. Sprinkle cheese and onion onto crust.
  6. Beat eggs, milk, salt and hot sauce together until combined. Pour onto the crust.
  7. Microwave at medium for another 4 minutes, or until contents are fully cooked
