
How To Make Hot Clam Dip
This hot and spicy clam dip recipe is a great way to jazz up your usual dips. Minced clams are seasoned with herbs, cheese, and chili until perfectly spicy.

Ingredients
- 6½ozclams,(2 cans) minced, drained
- 1tsplemon juice
- ½cupbutter
- 1small onion,minced
- ½green bell pepper,minced
- 1tspparsley,dried
- 1tsporegano,dried
- 1dashhot pepper sauce
- 1pinchground cayenne pepper
- ½cupbread crumbs,dried, seasoned
- ½cupcheddar cheese,shredded
- 1pinchpaprika
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Combine minced clams and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Bring mixture to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes.

In a medium-size saucepan, combine butter, onion, green bell pepper, parsley, oregano, hot sauce, and red pepper. Stir vegetables over a medium-low heat until butter or margarine is melted. Mix in the clams and breadcrumbs.

Pour mixture into an ovenproof baking dish and top with shredded Cheddar cheese and sprinkle with paprika.

Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
