How To Make Clam Fritters Recipe
Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, these fried fritters are loaded with fresh chopped clams and served with tartar sauce.

Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped clams
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup clam juice
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

Stir in milk, clam juice, and beaten egg until batter is smooth.

Mix in chopped clams and onion.

Heat 1 inch of oil in frying pan to 375°F.

Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels and serve with tartar sauce.
