How To Make Canned Salmon Croquettes

These crispy croquettes are made with canned salmon, perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14.75 oz) canned salmon, drained
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together canned salmon, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onions, celery, egg, lemon juice, dill, and black pepper.

  2. Form mixture into 8 patties and coat each patty in flour.

  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Fry salmon croquettes for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.

  5. Serve hot with a side salad or vegetables.
