How To Make Fig and Prosciutto Wrapped Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Pork tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto and figs for a sweet and savory combination.

Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 45 minutes
Total: 1 hour

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 pork tenderloin, trimmed (about 1 lb)
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.

  3. Lay out the prosciutto slices in a single layer on a sheet of plastic wrap, slightly overlapping.

  4. Spread the chopped figs over the prosciutto slices.

  5. Place the seasoned pork tenderloin on top of the figs and prosciutto.

  6. Roll the prosciutto and figs around the pork, using the plastic wrap to help form a tight roll. Discard the plastic wrap.

  7. Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.

  8. Add the pork roll to the skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 5 minutes.

  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, until the internal temperature of the pork reaches 145°F.

  10. Let the pork rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
