How To Make Morel Mushroom and Swiss Cheese Burger Recipe

Juicy and flavorful beef patty topped with earthy morel mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese on a toasted bun.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fresh morel mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix well and shape into 4 patties.
  2. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  3. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with chopped morel mushrooms and a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover with a lid until cheese is melted.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with melted cheese and morel mushrooms on each bun.
