Ingredients

  • 1 pack of enoki mushrooms
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup ice-cold water
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Clean and separate enoki mushrooms by gently pulling apart.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together egg and ice-cold water.

  4. Pour egg mixture into the flour mixture and whisk until batter is smooth.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot.

  6. Dip enoki mushrooms in batter to coat well and carefully drop them in hot oil.

  7. Fry until golden brown and crispy, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
