Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  2. Add the lamb and stir fry until browned, then transfer to a plate.

  3. In the same skillet, add the onion, red bell pepper, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch, soy sauce, brown sugar, and water until smooth.

  5. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and bring to a simmer.

  6. Return the lamb to the skillet and stir until coated in the sauce.

  7. Add chili flakes and mix well.

  8. Cook until the sauce has thickened and the lamb is fully cooked.

  9. Serve hot with rice.
