How To Make Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions

In a bowl, coat the sliced beef with cornstarch until fully coated.

In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and water.

Place coated beef in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over it.

Stir well to ensure the beef is coated with the sauce.

Cook on low heat for 4 hours.

Stir in the sliced green onions during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
