How To Make Steak and Rice Recipe

  • 4 steak fillets
  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish


  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Season the steak fillets with salt, pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and dried oregano.

  3. Add the olive oil to the skillet and sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time according to your desired doneness.

  4. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside to rest.

  5. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  6. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and stir in the Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the rice is heated through.

  7. Serve the steak fillets over a bed of rice and garnish with fresh parsley.
