Spicy Tuna Poke Bowls Recipe

How To Make Spicy Tuna Poke Bowls

Make your own poke bowls at home with this simple to follow recipe! It comes with a spicy mayo and filling tuna for a full meal.

For Tuna:

  • ½lbsushi-grade tuna,cut into ½-inch cubes
  • ¼cupscallions,sliced
  • 2tbspsoy sauce,reduced sodium, or gluten-free tamari
  • 1tspsesame oil
  • ½tspsriracha sauce

For Spicy Mayo:

  • 2tbsplight mayonnaise
  • 2tspsriracha sauce

For Poke Bowl:

  • 1cupshort grain brown rice,or sushi white rice, cooked
  • 1cupcucumbers,peeled and diced into ½-inch cubes
  • ½Hass avocado,medium
  • 2scallions,sliced for garnish
  • 1tspblack sesame seeds
  • soy sauce,reduced sodium, or gluten-free tamari, for serving, optional
  • sriracha,optional


Spicy Mayo:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sriracha, then thin them with a small drizzle of water.


  1. In a medium bowl, combine tuna with scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil and sriracha.

  2. Gently toss to combine, then set aside.

Poke Bowl:

  1. In 2 bowls, layer ½ of the rice, ½ of the tuna, avocado, cucumber and scallions.

  2. Drizzle with spicy mayo and sesame seeds.

  3. Serve with extra soy sauce on the side, and enjoy!
