Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh octopus, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 red onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine octopus, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate in the fridge for 20 minutes.

  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté red onion and jalapeno for 2 minutes.

  3. Add in the marinated octopus and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Take off heat and let it cool.

  4. Add in cherry tomatoes, cilantro, and avocado. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
