How To Make Broiled Lemon Fish Fillets

Ingredients

  • 1 lb orange roughy, tilapia or mild fish fillets
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened, or margarine
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ cup lemon juice, fresh

For Serving:

  • potatoes, cooked
  • lemon wedges

For Garnish:

  • parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine the butter and basil in a small bowl.
  2. Place fillets on a lightly greased broiler pan.
  3. Spread the fillets with the butter mixture.
  4. Broil at 350 degrees F, 5 to 8 inches away from the heat, for 5 minutes.
  5. Drizzle the lemon juice over filets and broil another 4 to 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
