Copycat Culver’s Tuna Melt Recipe

How To Make Copycat Culver’s Tuna Melt

Tartar Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp garlic (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Tuna Melt Ingredients:

  • 1 can tuna ((3 oz))
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup green onion (chopped)
  • ½ tbsp basil (chopped)
  • ½ tbsp cilantro (chopped)
  • ½ tbsp parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 American cheese slices
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 8 slices wheat bread
  1. To make the tartar sauce you should mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Then season it with desired salt and pepper.
  3. Cover with cling wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  4. Meanwhile, in a large bowl break up the tuna and mix it with all of the ingredients.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Once the tuna is ready, brush lightly on the bread slices some butter.
  7. Divide the tuna on each slice of bread and top each with a slice of cheese and garnish them with tartar sauce.
  8. Then in a greased skillet place the sandwiches and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
  9. Repeat with the remaining sandwiches.
