Ingredients

  • 5 cups potatoes, cooked
  • 1 onion
  • 6 slices bacon
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp parsley, fresh

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon in a deep skillet until brown and crispy on both sides. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  2. Next, add the onions to the bacon grease and cook them until they are browned.
  3. Add the water, salt, pepper, vinegar, and sugar to the pan and bring to a boil.
  4. Now you can add the potatoes and the parsley.
  5. Crumble half of the bacon in the pan and continue heating for about 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish of your choice and crumble the remaining bacon on the top before serving hot.
