How To Make Cheese Tortellini with Meat Sauce
This meaty 20-minute cheese tortellini is tossed in a flavorful marinara sauce with filling ground beef, and finished with cheese and parsley.
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until softened.
Add the ground beef to the pan and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook for approximately 4 to 5 minutes, breaking up the meat with a spatula until done.
Add the garlic to the pan, and cook for 30 seconds.
Pour the marinara sauce into the pan with the beef and heat until warmed through.
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package directions.
Drain the pasta and return to the pot. Pour the sauce over the pasta and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley, then serve. Enjoy!
