How To Make Pasta Siciliano

Just like its traditional counterpart, this pasta Siciliano comes with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, feta, and red pepper flakes for a truly authentic taste.

Ingredients

  • 16ozfarfalle pasta,(1 package), uncooked
  • ¼cupolive oil
  • 3clovesgarlic,chopped
  • 1tspred pepper flakes,crushed
  • 2tbsplemon juice
  • ½cuppine nuts
  • ozblack olives,(1 can), sliced
  • ½cupsun dried tomatoes,chopped
  • 1cupfeta cheese,crumbled
  • salt and pepper,to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place farfalle pasta in the pot, cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.

  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook the garlic until lightly browned.

  3. Mix in red pepper and lemon juice. Stir in the pine nuts, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.

  4. Toss in the cooked pasta and feta cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
