How To Make Creamy Tagliatelle with Fennel

Ingredients

  • 8 oz tagliatelle pasta
  • 1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced fennel and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the fennel is tender.

  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce for about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce.

  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve the creamy tagliatelle with fennel hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
