How To Make Creamy tagliatelle with sausage, ricotta & basil

Ingredients
- 12 oz tagliatelle pasta
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 5 minutes to reduce slightly.

Stir in the milk, ricotta cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce is creamy and heated through.

Add the cooked tagliatelle pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it in the creamy sauce.

Stir in the fresh basil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the creamy tagliatelle with sausage, ricotta, and basil hot, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves, if desired.
