How To Make Fish Pie with Pea & Dill Mash

Ingredients
- 500g white fish fillets
- 200g peeled and deveined prawns
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
- 1 tbsp plain flour
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup fish stock
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook until softened.

Add flour to the pan and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Gradually stir in fish stock and milk, and cook until thickened.

Add fish fillets and prawns to the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.

Stir in frozen peas and chopped dill, and cook for another 2 minutes.

Transfer the fish mixture to a baking dish.

Spread the mashed potatoes over the top of the fish mixture, creating an even layer.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the pie is bubbling.
