Creamy tomato sauce over bow tie pasta.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. bow tie pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Cook pasta according to package instructions.

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan. Stir to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the saucepan. Stir to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serve pasta with tomato cream sauce and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
