Ingredients

  • 16 oz. bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and browned.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook the sauce for 5-7 minutes until it begins to thicken.

  5. Add the grated parmesan cheese to the pan and stir until it melts completely. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.

  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until it is fully coated.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
