Asparagus Almondine Recipe

Roasted asparagus with toasted almond flakes and capers. Black plate over white.

Dress up ordinary asparagus with a couple, simple touches.

This simple variation to the original Almondine mixture is the omission of herbs, but this quick and easy version can make do without. Asparagus cooked perfectly is heavenly on its own, but add to that a rich and smooth buttery sauce infused with almonds, and what you have is a dish truly hard to resist.
