Outback-Style Sweet Potato Recipe

A delicious blend of cinnamon and honey mixed together with the sweet taste of the potatoes. Just combine the seasonings together and rub it on the potato before baking it till tender. Top it off with this addictive honey butter glaze.

How To Make Outback-Style Sweet Potato

  • 5 large sweet potato
  • 2 tbsp shortening
  • 3 tbsp kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  1. Rub outside of potato with shortening and sprinkle with kosher salt. 

  2. Bake the potatoes at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes (until soft). Use a baking sheet.

  3. Split the potato. Whip together butter and honey in a small bowl and put inside.

  4. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
