How To Make Lots o’ Veggies Sausage Spaghetti Sauce
There’s a reason why pasta is a popular favorite. It’s such a multi-purpose dish that can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways. With so many pasta ideas to choose from, your biggest challenge will be deciding on which pasta recipes to go for!

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 4 Italian sausages, casings removed
- 1 can (400g) of crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (200g) of tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 300g spaghetti
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion becomes translucent.

Add diced bell pepper, zucchini, and carrot. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the sausage. Cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces.

Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, dried basil, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.

While the sauce is simmering, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Serve the spaghetti topped with the lots o’ veggies sausage sauce. Enjoy!
