  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, black pepper, thyme, and oregano. Mix until well combined.

  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Spread the mixture over the meatloaf.

  5. Bake for 1 hour 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
