Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, bread crumbs, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, ground ginger, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
-
Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
-
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
-
While the meatballs are baking, heat the teriyaki sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until it thickens slightly.
-
Remove the meatballs from the oven and brush them with the teriyaki sauce. Return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.
-
Garnish the meatballs with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
-
Serve the Teriyaki Pork Meatballs over steamed rice or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
