Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

  3. Add onions, garlic, carrot, and peas to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.

  4. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. Transfer the meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes evenly over the top.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and the filling is bubbling.
