Ingredients
- 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 can of chili
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of diced jalapenos (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, prepare the cornbread mix according to package instructions.

Spread half of the cornbread batter into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.

Pour the chili on top of the cornbread layer.

Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese and diced jalapenos (if using) over the chili.

Spread the remaining cornbread batter over the chili layer.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden and cooked through.
