Creamy Green Bean & Potato Casserole Recipe

Putting together a green bean and potato casserole does not take too much effort at all. You will have this ready in no time and your family will enjoy every single bite.


A potato casserole that's generously smothered with sharp cheedar cheese. It's baked for 25 minutes until the cheese just melts into the dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb green beans, blanched, trimmed, and halved
  • 1⅓ lb potatoes, salt-baked, peeled, and cut into cubes
  • 10 oz condensed mushroom soup, (1 can)
  • 6 oz mushroom, (1 can), sliced and drained
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
  • ½ cup milk
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • cooking spray

For Garnish:

  • 1 tbsp parmesan cheese
  • ¼ tsp parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all your ingredients together, except for ¼ cup cheese.

  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Adjust accordingly, then pour into your baking casserole.

  4. Bake for 25 minutes.

  5. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.

  6. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve
