How To Make Christmas Hash Brown Potato Bake

Christmas mornings just got a lot more festive with this potato bake, a filling casserole loaded with bacon, eggs, and cheddar cheese!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1lbbacon
  • 6eggs
  • 1pinchsalt and ground black pepper,to taste
  • 1cupmilk
  • 16ozfrozen hash brown potatoes,(1 package), thawed
  • 1cupcheddar cheese,shredded
  • 1tspbutter,or as needed

Instructions

  1. Place the bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until evenly browned. Drain bacon slices on paper towels and crumble.

  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and stir in milk. Season with salt and pepper. Add the bacon, hash browns, and ½ of the Cheddar cheese.

  3. Butter a casserole dish and press mixture into the dish. Top with the remaining cheese.

  4. Cover the casserole and refrigerate to let flavors mingle for 8 hours to overnight.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Uncover the casserole.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 1½ to 2 hours until eggs are set.

  7. Serve warm, and enjoy!
