How To Make Chow Mein Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 8 oz chow mein noodles
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the bell pepper, carrot, mushrooms, and snap peas to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and chicken broth. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the vegetables. Stir well to combine.

Add the cooked chicken and cooked chow mein noodles to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.

Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and bake for 15 minutes, or until heated through.

Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions.
