How To Make Chicken Broccoli Casserole

You’ll crave the delicious cheesy taste of this chicken broccoli casserole. It’s tossed in a creamy sauce with cheese, then finished with a crumb topping.

  • 8ozmedium pasta,cooked al dente
  • 4cupsfresh broccoli,cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2cupscooked chicken

For Sauce:

  • cupsprepared alfredo sauce,(about 2 jars)
  • 1cupcheddar cheese
  • ½cupSwiss cheese
  • 1tspgarlic powder
  • 1tspdry mustard

For Crumb Topping:

  • ½cupPanko bread crumbs
  • 1tbspbutter,melted
  • 1tbspparsley
  • ½cupcheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Cook pasta al dente according to package directions, adding the broccoli into the cooking water during the last 2 minutes. Drain well.

  3. Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

  4. Stir together broccoli, pasta, sauce, and chicken. Place in a greased 2-quart casserole dish.

  5. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over casserole.

  6. Bake for 35 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is lightly browned.
