
How To Make Grilled Chicken Heart Skewers (Espeto de Coraco de Galinha)
Enjoy Brazil’s chicken heart skewers fresh from your grill! Chicken hearts are marinated in soy sauce, poultry seasoning, and parsley for a juicy bite.

Ingredients
- 1cupsoy sauce
- 1cupfresh parsley,chopped
- ¾beer
- 1½tsppoultry seasoning
- 1½tspachiote powder
- 1½tspfresh ginger,grated
- 3clovesgarlic,crushed
- salt and ground black pepper,to taste
- 1lbchicken hearts
Instructions

Whisk soy sauce, parsley, beer, poultry seasoning, achiote powder, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a bowl until marinade is well mixed; add chicken hearts. Cover bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

Remove chicken hearts from marinade and discard marinade. Assemble chicken hearts on metal skewers.

Cook on the grill, turning halfway through, for about 15 minutes until no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F.

Serve warm and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
Bamboo skewers soaked in water for 10 to 15 minutes can be used in place of the metal skewers.
