How To Make Grilled Cajun Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless, cut in half
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- salt , for taste
Instructions

Mix the garlic powder, oregano, pepper, paprika and cayenne in a small bowl.

Put the chicken into a large Ziploc bag and add the lemon juice, oil and half the spice mixture.

Seal the bag, pressing out any air.

Massage the marinade into the chicken and let sit in the fridge for a minimum of two hours.

Remove the chicken from the bag and discard the marinade.

Drain the chicken, then season with the rest of the spice mixture.

Heat the grill to medium high and lay the chicken breasts on the hot grill.

Cook 5-9 minutes and flip.

Cook another 5-9 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Serve hot or cold.
