How To Make Leftover Lamb Gyros Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked and shredded leftover lamb
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of sliced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup of tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to low heat and wrap the pita breads in foil.

  2. Heat leftover lamb in a skillet over medium-high heat until warmed through.

  3. Assemble the gyros: evenly distribute the lamb, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, mint, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce among the pita breads.

  4. Serve hot, wrapped in the foil.
