- 1 lb lamb or chicken, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/2 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Tzatziki sauce for serving
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the sliced meat and marinate for at least 1 hour.

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated meat for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.

Remove the meat from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Slice it into thin strips.

Warm the pita breads on the grill or in a pan.
