Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh tarragon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  2. Add minced shallot and cook until softened.

  3. Pour in white wine and chicken broth, bring to a boil, and let simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Stir in heavy cream and tarragon, and continue to simmer until sauce reduces and thickens.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
