Vegetarian Low Carb Tofu Stir-Fry Recipe

How To Make Vegetarian Low Carb Tofu Stir-Fry Recipe

A delicious vegetarian stir-fry with tofu, veggies, and a spicy sauce. Low in carbs and high in protein!

Total: 30 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 package of firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • 1 cup of sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp of chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the tofu and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  3. Add the bell pepper, onion, broccoli, and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, until tender.

  4. Add the garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili flakes, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.

  5. Return the tofu to the pan and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes to combine all the flavors.

  6. Serve hot with a side of cauliflower rice.
