How To Make Halloumi Wraps with Crunchy Za’atar Chips

Ingredients
- 8 small tortilla wraps
- 250g halloumi cheese, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp za’atar spice
- 1 cup crushed pita chips
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup tahini sauce
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the sliced halloumi cheese on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with za’atar spice.

Bake the halloumi cheese for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

In the meantime, warm the tortilla wraps in a skillet or microwave.

To make the za’atar chips, spread the crushed pita chips on a baking sheet and sprinkle with za’atar spice. Bake for 5-8 minutes until crispy.

Assemble the wraps by spreading a spoonful of tahini sauce on each tortilla. Add a few slices of crispy halloumi cheese, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and fresh parsley.

Roll up the wraps tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed.

Serve the halloumi wraps with crunchy za’atar chips on the side.
