How To Make Instant Coffee Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 12 ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  2. Add the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar to the bowl and continue to whip until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the instant coffee and hot water until the coffee is dissolved.

  4. Dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure to coat both sides.

  5. Arrange six of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer in the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish.

  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

  7. Dip the remaining six ladyfingers into the coffee mixture and arrange them in a single layer over the mascarpone mixture.

  8. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers.

  9. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or overnight).

  10. Before serving, dust the top of the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
