Ingredients

  • 4 hake fillets
  • 1 cup of white beans, soaked overnight
  • 1 chorizo sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 cups of chicken or fish broth
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the soaked white beans and set aside.

  2. In a large pot, heat some oil over medium heat and sauté the chorizo, onion, and garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add the white beans to the pot and stir well. Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes, or until the beans are tender.

  5. Season the hake fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  6. In a separate pan, heat some oil over medium-high heat and pan-fry the hake fillets until cooked through and golden brown on both sides.

  7. Serve the pan-fried hake on top of the white bean and chorizo broth.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
