How To Make Licorice Root Tea

A sweet and herby licorice tea that's ideal for long afternoons by the patio. Sip this refreshing drink along with some biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups water
  • 1 oz dried licorice root, roughly chopped if using fresh
  • honey, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil your water, then add your licorice root.

  2. Continue boiling for 10 minutes, then pour the tea into your teapot.

  3. Adjust your tea with honey to taste. Serve.
