How To Make Licorice Root Tea
- 1 cup water
- Licorice root
- Peppermint leaves (optional)
Finely chop or grate licorice root into small pieces, enough for 1 tsp.
Boil 1 C. of water.Â
Place 1 tsp. of shredded licorice root into the infuser or tea ball. Pour boiling water into a mug and let tea steep for 5-10 minutes.Â
Add peppermint or cinnamon for flavor, or a few drops of honey for sweetner instead of sugar.Â
