  • 2cupsgranulated sugar,400g
  • 9cupswater,divided
  • 2cupsfresh lemon juice
  • few cups of ice


  1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar and 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, while stirring frequently to dissolve sugar. Allow cooling to room temperature, for about 30 minutes.

  2. In a large pitcher stir together sugar syrup mixture, 7 cups of cold water, and lemon juice. Add ice and serve cold. Store in refrigerator.
