This lemonade recipe is zesty and freshly squeezed. Refreshing lemon slices with sweet syrup and tangy lemon juice. A homemade drink to quench your thirst.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups water, for boiling
  • 6 cups water, cold
  • 1 lemon , sliced
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized pot, boil water over low heat.
  2. Very carefully add the sugar to the boiling water to make simple syrup and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and set aside to cool down completely.
  4. In a large jug or a punch bowl, combine the lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, cold water, lemon slices, and ice.
  5. Stir well to mix and serve ice-cold!
