- 2 cups Door County cherries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vodka
Instructions

Remove the pits from the cherries and place them in a large glass jar.

Sprinkle the sugar over the cherries and mash them slightly to release their juices.

Pour the vodka over the cherries and sugar, making sure they are completely submerged.

Seal the jar tightly and shake well to combine.

Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 2 weeks, shaking it every few days to help the flavors meld.

After 2 weeks, strain the cherry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a clean bottle.
