How To Make Scandi Salmon Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 pound of fresh salmon fillets
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of chopped dill
  • 1/4 cup of chopped chives
  • 1/4 cup of crème fraîche
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and line a pie dish with it.

  3. In a bowl, mix together the crème fraîche, beaten eggs, chopped dill, chopped chives, salt, and pepper.

  4. Spread the spinach evenly over the puff pastry in the pie dish.

  5. Place the salmon fillets on top of the spinach.

  6. Pour the crème fraîche mixture over the salmon.

  7. Arrange the cherry tomato halves on top.

  8. Roll out the second sheet of puff pastry and use it to cover the pie, sealing the edges with the first sheet.

  9. Brush the top of the pie with beaten egg.

  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and the salmon is cooked through.

  11. Serve hot and enjoy!
