  • 8 slices of baguette
  • 1 cup of lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing the bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the crab meat, diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  4. Once the baguette slices are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  5. Spoon a generous amount of the crab salsa mixture onto each slice of baguette.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
