Ingredients

  • 8 slices of smoked salmon
  • 4 slices of rye bread
  • 4 tbsp of cream cheese
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp of capers
  • Fresh dill, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Toast the rye bread slices until golden brown.

  2. Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese on each slice of toasted rye bread.

  3. Top each slice with 2 slices of smoked salmon.

  4. Arrange the thinly sliced red onion on top of the salmon.

  5. Sprinkle each slice with capers.

  6. Garnish with fresh dill.

  7. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
