Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 4 cups of fresh blackberries
- ½ cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of cornstarch
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of water
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, mix blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.

Roll out pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish.

Pour blackberry mixture into the crust and dot with butter.

Use remaining crust to create a lattice top.

Whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.

Brush the lattice top with the egg wash.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.
