How To Make Blackberry Fruit Pie Recipe

  • 1 pie crust
  • 4 cups of fresh blackberries
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup of cornstarch
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of water


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice.

  3. Roll out pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish.

  4. Pour blackberry mixture into the crust and dot with butter.

  5. Use remaining crust to create a lattice top.

  6. Whisk together the egg and water to make an egg wash.

  7. Brush the lattice top with the egg wash.

  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the crust is golden brown.

  9. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before serving.
